Can AI agents create tech packs and BOMs?
Yes. The tech pack agent drafts tech packs and BOMs from the style record and earlier styles, ready for your team to review. Approved versions are locked, and every supplier works from the current one.
How do AI agents improve product data in a PIM?
They fill missing attributes from specs and certificates, write and translate descriptions, and prepare feeds for each sales channel, including AI shopping assistants. Every value links back to its source.
How do AI agents help with Digital Product Passports?
They gather passport data from your PLM, PIM and suppliers, map the supply chain tier by tier, score each passport’s completeness and flag what’s missing as ESPR rules publish.
Can AI agents map our supply chain for traceability?
Yes. The supply chain mapping agent builds your supplier tiers from invoices, certificates and supplier answers, from fibre to factory, and flags high-risk regions for checks under rules like the EU Forced Labour Regulation.
When do Digital Product Passports become mandatory?
EU battery passports apply from 18 February 2027. The ESPR rules for textiles and apparel are expected in late 2027, with passports at least 18 months later, and toy passports apply from 1 August 2030. Agents help you gather the data now, product by product.
How are AI agents different from ChatGPT?
A chatbot answers from whatever you paste in. Seamless Source agents work from your approved product record, follow your roles and approvals, and link every answer to its evidence.
Which AI models do the agents use?
Some built-in agents use leading third-party AI models, chosen for each task. Each model receives only the data the task needs, within the user’s role, and every request is logged. Our current AI subprocessors are available on request.
Can we use Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or our own model?
Yes. Our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server connects MCP-compatible AI tools and approved enterprise models to your product data, with the same role checks and logging.
Do you sell our data?
No. We will never sell your data to third parties. To run some agents, the data a task needs is processed by third-party AI models, and it may help improve our own models. Our current AI subprocessors are available on request.
Can an AI agent publish or send anything on its own?
No. Agents draft. A named person approves anything published, sent to a supplier or changed on an approved record.
Do AI agents make us compliant?
They gather, check and organise the evidence that passport rules like ESPR, the Toy Safety Regulation and the Forced Labour Regulation ask for. Responsibility for compliance stays with your business.
